Sebastian Siepen

Sebastian leads the market rollout to PSPs, merchants and consumers within the Digital Euro Directorate at the ECB.

Previously he held responsibility in defining the digital euro's value proposition for banks and non-bank PSPs, covering key areas like compensation models, holding limits, rollout strategy, and integration within the broader payment ecosystem.

Before joining the ECB, he worked in multiple roles within the Corporate & Investment Bank of Deutsche Bank in Germany, France and the US.
