The meeting place for Nordic retail.

Nordic Summit brings the people shaping retail across the Nordic region into one room. In Tromsø, leaders compare priorities, tackle shared challenges and set the direction for the year ahead.

    Retailers set the agenda.

Leading Nordic retailers set the agenda across countries and industries. They choose the questions that affect customer value, competitiveness and the Nordic position in global retail.

Retailers lead the stage programme. Suppliers, central banks and retail associations join the sessions where their perspective sharpens the discussion. Roundtables and shared meals leave enough time to get beyond the prepared answers.

Tromsø beneath the northern lights, surrounded by sea and mountains

    Come north. See retail differently.

On 28–29 October, Nordic retail meets in Tromsø, 350 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. The city sits between fjords and mountain peaks, compact enough for conversations to continue from the stage to the waterfront.

By late October, darkness returns early and Tromsø enters aurora season. The northern lights are never guaranteed, but the possibility is part of the experience. Step outside after the final session and the sky above Tromsø may be alive with green.

The Summit takes place at Clarion Hotel The Edge, on the waterfront in central Tromsø and just ten minutes from the airport.

The questions shaping what comes next.

Across two days, the conversation moves from AI’s impact on customer relationships to the infrastructure and trust European commerce will need next. The full agenda belongs in the room. These are the questions bringing it together.

    Day 1

    The new customer reality

    • When AI becomes the customer

As agents begin to discover, compare and buy, who owns the customer relationship, and how ready are retailers?

    • Foundations merchants can shape

Merchant identity, shared standards and interoperability could turn common challenges into a stronger position for European commerce.

    • Winning and keeping the digital customer

AI, data, Retail Media, loyalty and trust are changing what it takes to remain the customer’s preferred destination.

    Day 2

    Building trusted digital commerce

    • The new geopolitical reality

Security, resilience and global competition are moving onto the merchant boardroom agenda. What should leaders prepare for next?

    • The infrastructure behind trust

AI-driven commerce needs identity and digital foundations that both customers and merchants can rely on.

    • From priorities to action

Senior merchants will define shared priorities for 2027 and decide which ones the industry should advance together.

    What to expect

The programme gives senior retailers and selected participants time to examine real decisions and agree what should happen next.

    • Inside the decisions

Hear retail leaders unpack what they are changing now, the trade-offs behind each decision and the evidence guiding their next move.

    • Time to go deeper

Test assumptions with peers in retailer-led roundtables. Shared meals and a compact setting in Tromsø give the conversation time to develop.

    • Work that continues

Roundtables close with named owners and practical next steps, creating momentum that carries into 2027.

“A resounding yes echoed through the room.”
